The story of Alcance Myrtle Beach began in July 2023 when Pastors Deigma and Clisses Marques came to the city and presented the challenge to Itamar and Jubilene to start a cell group in their home.
With their positive response, the meetings began on September 14, 2023. However, as the cell group grew, they moved their meetings to a banquet hall, still on Wednesdays.
In January 2024, the pastors moved to Myrtle Beach.
In April 2024, Sunday meetings began in a building subleased from an American church, where they still meet.
Certainly, this is the beginning of something great yet to come, and the Lord continues to write this story.
Pastors Deigma and Clisses Marques were ordained into the Pastoral Ministry in October 2004. In February 2011, they started Alcance Goiânia in the living room of an apartment in the Jardim América neighborhood of Goiânia, where they lived. They were pastors of Alcance Goiânia until March 2019.
In 2019, they moved to the USA, where they served the Brazilian community at Mill Church in Lowell, MA, until December 2021. In December 2021, they moved to Orlando, FL, where they served as assistant pastors at Alcance Orlando until January 2024. In September 2023, they started Alcance Myrtle Beach, where they are currently pastors.
Married since 1997, they are parents to two sons, Eliseu and André Marques, and in-laws to Nicole Marques.
Pastor Deigma Marques is also known for his extra-local ministry and for several songs recorded over more than 20 years of ministry, including “Eu me encontrei com Jesus,” “Ele Vem,” “Rei do Universo,” and “Que Ele cresça.”
